Ski resort Skalka in the heart of Jeseníky mountains offer to all customer a view at the ski slopes and time to take a break from hustle and bustle of the city. On the top of Jeseníky was built an extraordinary ski resort with emphasis on lightness and modernity of the building. Thanks to this concept was possible to let build fenestration from three sides to provide unforgettable experience. One of the crucial task was the winterising of the building site for long 6 months and let winter enthusiast enjoy the surroundings. Within that time we could at least carried forward on the two other objects to keep the schedule
Technical specifications
Our colleagues from a division RC structures and Precast structures formed integral part of building process. The foundations were casted in the U shape 42,7m by 28,1m and fixed by rebars into the rocks under. The main bearable monolithic reinforced concrete structure together with precast stairs and beams form the load-bearing skeleton. The climatic conditions along with an altitude and restriction from guards in the protected landscape area created difficult assignment. As a part of the main project was as well two separate spacious apartments just few hundreds meters from Skalka residence.
