Detailed characteristics
The construction of the bridge SO212 is being carried out in cooperation with the general contractor SKANSKA a.s.
The bridge structure in the form of a double-arched crossbeam is being built with regard to local requirements for the migration of forest animals and is one of the key objects of the D5509 stage on the main motorway connecting northern and southern Moravia. The eco-bridge will also serve as a forest road relocation. The bridge connects 2 local biocentres Hrubý Háj and U stadionu.
Technical specifications
The width of the biocorridor is 40.0 m at the top of the structure and 80.0 m at the base. The level of the structure rises at a slope of 25%, which will be formed by a maximum height of 2.4 m of soil. The bridge is a full-wall, framed, double-pole bridge with a span of 2 x 19.0m and a slab with a variable height of 0.6 – 0.9m and a width of 54.0 – 63.46m. In the transverse direction, the reinforced concrete structure is divided into 5 expansion units. The foundation of the bridge is made by drilled piles Ø 1200 mm. The central support is divided into 10 piers of variable cross-section and the supporting structure consists of a reinforced concrete frame with a folded upper crossbar and ramps at the central support.
